PRESENTATION
Course Description: This course is designed for students preparing for careers in the corporate world. It develops the English needed to communicate clearly and work effectively, with a special focus on understanding and navigating corporate culture.
We will study topics such as professional communication, teamwork, leadership, and ethics, all examined through the lens of corporate culture. You will practice through activities, case studies, and role-plays, improving your English while exploring how culture shapes workplace behavior and expectations.
You will build key skills: listening and nonverbal communication, clear writing, critical thinking, problem-solving, and presenting with confidence. The course blends online work with face-to-face classes. You will also prepare for the TOEIC, building toward official certification in your final year.

Session 1

Session 2
In this session, we’ll explore the essential qualities of organizational culture and how they shape the workplace, influence employee behavior, and impact company success. We’ll also examine what defines a positive or negative corporate culture.

Session 3
In this session, we’ll examine case studies of companies that once struggled with poor corporate culture but have since implemented changes to improve. We’ll explore how these organizations are now striving to create healthier, more positive workplace environments.

Session 4
In this session, we’ll start with a written evaluation on corporate culture, followed by group preparation for a role play. The role play will focus on resolving a workplace conflict caused by misaligned or poor corporate values, with the aim of proposing solutions to improve the work environment.

Session 5
In the fifth and final session, we’ll conduct the corporate culture role play oral evaluation in groups. Each group will follow a running order as they present their role plays, demonstrating their conflict resolution strategies based on corporate culture issues.
