Introduction to the two courses of Advanced Microeconomics 1-2.
The course is designed to provide a rigorous refresh of the conceptual apparatus of modern microeconomics.
Its objective is to equip students who have already attended microeconomic courses during their undergraduate studies with the basic analytical tools required to read and understand contemporary literature in theoretical and applied microeconomics.
This course is also meant to help students who aims at enrolling or are currently attending a PhD program to strengthen their background in microeconomic theory, in order to run research in theoretical and applied microeconomics (e.g., financial economics and industrial organization), behavioral economics, microeconometrics, microfunded macroeconomics, etc.
