PRESENTATION

Whatever your future professional career, whether in academic research, industry, deep-tech companies, the public sector, or elsewhere, project management will always remain an essential skill.

This course aims to provide participants with advanced project management methods and tools as described by the Project Management Institute.

The course will be organized into two parts:

  • A part focused on principles, where we will cover the five project management process groups and examine the key aspects, activities, tools, and techniques of project management. The main responsibilities of a project manager will be discussed, and the most common challenges encountered during a project's lifecycle will be presented. Students will learn best practices to better manage their projects.
  • A part focused on practice, which will allow students to revisit theoretical concepts and explore them through collaborative techniques and special attention to case studies.

By the end of this course, students will be better prepared to handle their first projects.
