PRESENTATION

In simple terms, e-business is the promotion of products or brands via one or more forms of electronic media. e-business is often referred to as e-commerce, online marketing, internet marketing or web marketing. E-business objectives should be SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time Related); and today’s international businesses should benchmark against global competitors to ensure that they are more effective.

4th Industrial Revolution (4IR or Industry 4.0) is the new era in the digitization of the manufacturing sector, enabled by disruptive trends which include IOT,  big data, connectivity, data analytics, human-machine interaction, and  robotics.

This class introduces students to e-business, how it is used by international managers to achieve goals and ensure a better performance in the 4th Industrial Revolution Era.
