PRESENTATION

This course, to study biological samples from nanometric to cell and organoids imaging, is intended for students who will be doing cell biology in the laboratory.

The latest technologies (optogenetics, AFM, membrane biology, FRET/FRAP, etc.) will be presented theoretically and practically.

PREREQUIS

Avant le début du cours, je dois ...
  • Enjoy cell biology
  • Have a bachelor's degree in life sciences

OBJECTIFS

A la fin de ce cours, je devrais être capable de...
  • Know the main uses and characteristics of the devices used
  • Choosing an imaging technique adapted to the biological question to be resolved
  • Read a scientific article in English, present it orally and write a summary
  • Know the basics of the main methods of observation, analysis, and exploration in cell biology
  • To emphasize the interest of the choice of technique according to the biological question.
